Joel Schubert

Joel Schubert is a Managing Director of Miramar Holdings and serves as the head of Miramar Holdings Real Estate. Prior to joining Miramar in 2016, Joel was a Director of RBC Real Estate Capital Partners, a division of RBC Capital Markets, where he co-led the US origination platform. During his time at RBC, he was responsible for the origination of over $3 billion of mortgage and mezzanine financings secured by commercial real estate assets across the US.  Joel began his career in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in both New York and Dallas, where he focused on the acquisition and management of real estate investments throughout the US.  

Joel received a BBA in Finance and Business Honors with high honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he currently serves as a member of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center Advisory Council.  Joel also serves on the Board of Directors for the TREC Community Fund.
