Cele B. Carpenter
Cele Briscoe Carpenter is a principal and general partner of Miramar Holdings. At Miramar she has oversight of capital allocation, investment approvals, and personnel decisions.
Cele is active in the community and coordinates the family’s charitable giving activities. She is a member of the Dallas Women’s Club, serves on the advisory board of Advocates for Community Transformation and is involved with a number of other Dallas-based non-profits including Voice of Hope, Brother Bill’s Helping Hand, the West Dallas Community School and Mercy Street. Cele spearheaded the Carpenter’s lead gift to help create the Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center at Fair Park and has led the family’s annual giving to the Kate Marmion Regional Cancer Center in Uvalde, the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio and Wreaths Across America.
Additionally, she has been actively involved with the historical preservation and downtown redevelopment of the East Texas Community of Winnsboro. She serves on the Winnsboro Center for the Arts advisory council and volunteers at many of the Winnsboro festivals. She is the owner and developer of Sinclair Market, a soon-to-open renovated and expanded vintage Sinclair Gas Station located at a key intersection in downtown Winnsboro that will provide local, organic, grab-and-go food, beverages and dry good staples to the residents and visitors of the Winnsboro community.
